My name is Diana and I’m the owner here at Jolie Studios LLC. If you’re wondering what’s up with the French theme, no I’m not French, but I wish I was! I’ve traveled to France a couple of times and I have fallen completely in love with the language, art, food, architecture, fashion, honestly every part. So when I established Jolie Studios I wanted to incorporate my love for French culture and voila! (That’s where the name Jolie Studios comes from)!
When I’m not behind the camera I love spending time with my family and friends. Often times I can be found at local coffeeshops befriending the baristas and hosting parties and events for friends, family, or my church.
I discovered my love for photography nine years ago and ever since I have been pursuing my dreams of being a portrait + commercial photographer conducting shoots all over the country.
I love my job. Truly. I love meeting with new clients and hearing their story to create a customized shoot that best showcases who they are in a way that makes them feel confident in their own skin. I love brainstorming new concepts, locations and outfits. I love collaborating with other creatives to bring crazy ideas to life. I love the look on my clients faces after I deliver their edited gallery. But most of all I love the lasting relationships and friendships that I have cultivated over the years through my work. God has blessed me with such an incredible supportive community of other photographers and clients.
My love and passion for photography has created a space for me to not only have the opportunity to be creative, but to relate with others on a deeper level than I ever thought possible. I understand when posing for the camera there is a certain level of vulnerability that is required and sometimes that can be scary and intimidating. Which is exactly why I want to get to know my clients! I want to take all their fears and insecurities into consideration when planning their session so that during their shoot they feel comfortable and confident, resulting in photos that not only I would approve of, but they will approve of and love.
